E3 Wishlist

Last year’s E3 seemed to be pretty much just all announcements of things with little to no release dates. This year I want solid release dates that are soon so here is my E3 Wishlist:

“Must be there” E3 Wishlist:

E3 Wishlist

Come on, Sony. It’s been long enough. Give us The Last Guardian.

  • A solid release date in 2016 for The Last Guardian: This game has languished in development hell for too long. It’s time
  • A solid release date for the new Wii U Legend of Zelda: Announced last year but seen nothing since.
  • A solid release date in 2015 for the new Wii U Starfox: Announced last year but seen little since.
  • More of the new Need For Speed: Seems to be going back to the underground roots. Not the best setting but I have faith in Ghost games
  • Lots and lots of The Phantom Pain: Absolutely cannot wait for this.
  • An English release of Bravely Second: This sequel to “Final Fantasy in all but name”, Bravely Default is already released in Japanese but needs an English release.
  • An English release of Fire Emblem If: Sequel to the smash hit Fire Emblem Awakening.

ABZU looks to capture a similar sense of wonder as Journey did. Only underwater.

  • A solid release date in 2015 for ABZU: In development by the same team that made the amazing Journey and looks to be just as magical.
  • A solid release date in 2015 for Below:  In the works by Capy Games makers or hits like Super Time Force and Sword  & Sworcery so it’s bound to be good.
  • A solid release date for Deus Ex Mankind Divided: Follow up to 2012’s smash hit, Deus Ex human Revolution that revived an amazing franchise thought killed by it’s awful 2nd entry
  • A solid release date for PC Final Fantasy Type-0 HD: Originally released on PSP, then on next-gen consoles and now reportedly coming to PC finally this is one of the better games that spinned off of Final Fantasy XIII.

    E3 Wishlist

No one is still exactly sure what Homeworld Shipbreakers will be but it has the fan’s attention

  • A solid release date in 2015 for Homeworld Shipbreakers:  Shrouded in mystery for a long time, but anything Homeworld is golden.

    E3 Wishlist

Mirror’s Edge was a bit of a love it or hate it game. I loved it and can’t wait for more.

  • A solid release date in early 2016 for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst: I’ve been waiting for more Mirror’s Edge since 2008 and it’s finally going to happen.
  • Lots and lots of XCOM 2: Upcoming sequel to the legendary re-imagining of XCOM, XCOM: Enemy Unknown. Such hype.
  • A solid release date in early 2016 for Uncharted 4:  This final entry in the brilliant Uncharted series will be the thing that finally makes me buy a PS4.
  • A solid release date for Crackdown: The original Crackdown was the very first game I got for my XBox 360 so I’m excited for more from the series.

“Would be nice” E3 Wishlist:

  • A new Resistance game:  This unfairly ignored series should get more love.
  • A new Prince of Persia game: This long forgotten series needs a rebirth.
  • A new Mario game: Because you can never have enough.
  • A solid release date for Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster: This is the only major Resident Evil game I have yet to play and I was purposefully waiting for a HD remaster to do so.

    E3 Wishlist

The enemies of the emperor will fall before the hands of the Deathwing

  • A solid release date for Space Hulk Deathwing: Because pretty much anything Warhammer 40K is golden and I want to blast apart Genestealers in first person.
  • Something new and different would be nice too but I won’t know what that is until I see it. And it will probably come from a small indie dev.

Those are my thoughts anyway. Anyone else have any games I left off this list that they’re excited about? Let me know in the comments below!
